The mother of a 30-year-old man accused of making death threats against politicians has now been charged with lying when she purchased firearms found in her son’s possession.

Michigan has seen an increase in commonness when it comes to threats against public officials in the state. 56-year-old Michelle Berka is facing charges after her son Randall Berka II was arrested and charged with illegally possessing guns.

He is said to have made death threats on social media against the president and governor as well as people in the LGBTQ community.

WWMT reports that according to authorities, Michelle Berka knowingly lied when she purchased five guns that were eventually given to another person, and while an indictment dated August 2 does not name who she gave them to, her son was arrested with four of the firearms in March.

She will face up to ten years in federal prison if convicted.

From watching the Trump case, I’m going to point out that what the left considers to be a “death threat” probably isn’t, even as they overlook obvious threats from their brownshirt foot soldiers.
