Notre Dame defeats Navy in Ireland

Notre Dame Football got their season off to a dominant start as they faced the Navy in the NCAA’s yearly trip to Ireland.

The Fighting Irish were able to defeat the Midshipmen by a score of 42 – 3.

Nationally ranked 13th, Notre Dame came out swinging putting up a total of 28 points in the first half alone.

Quarterback Sam Hartman was able to drive down the field with ease, throwing 19 for 23, accumulating 251 totaly yards passing and four touchdowns on the night.

Receiver Jaden Greathouse had three receptions with two of them being for a touchdown.

Navy recorded their only points of the night in the fourth quarter with a field goal.

Notre Dame moves on face the Tennessee State Tigers at home in South Bend on September 2nd.
