Niles teen sentenced to probation for sexual crime

A Niles teen was sentenced for sex crime in Berrien County trial.

It happened in April in Niles Township. That’s when 19-year-old Enoch Loucks was accused of having sexual relations with a 15-year-old girl.

Loucks pleaded guilty to assault with intent to commit criminal sexual conduct.

He was sentenced of five years probation as well as 25 years on the sex offender registry.

Leader Publications reports that Loucks apologized for his actions and told the victim that he was sorry.
