Workers who have experienced a company layoff may be able to receive free training and benefits through federal funds.

The funds are available for qualifying workers through the Trade Adjustment Assistance program with the Indiana Department of Workforce Development.

TAA case managers can meet with workers to determine eligibility, and if found eligible, they could begin training to earn a post-secondary credential, associate degree or higher at no cost to the worker.
