Dozens of catalytic converters stolen from Goshen area business

Just because catalytic converter thefts haven’t been in the news, lately, that doesn’t mean they’re not happening.
Case in point: A representative with Wabash on Goshen’s south side reports as many as 38 catalytic converter thefts were stolen from chassis at the business during the past week.
That’s according to a Goshen Police report.
So far, there is no word about any arrests.

As soon as the people quit getting rewarded for stealing them the catalytic converters will quit getting stolen. Instead of slapping the thief’s on the hand with charges that aren’t strong enough to keep the thieves from stealing them make the charges stiffer with higher fines enough to pay to have the vehicles fixed that they stole the converters from.
