Coyotes in Benton Harbor

The Benton Harbor Department of Public Safety is urging you to use caution if you see a coyote in town.

According to a Facebook post from the department, there was a report of a person being bitten by a coyote on Saturday.

Officials say that the coyotes are not friendly.

If you see one, your are asked to stay away and call Berrien County Animal Control at 269-927-5648..
