An investigation is underway after thousands of dollars worth of property was stolen from a barn.

A member of the owner’s family called dispatch after seeing a suspicious van on the property, but the suspects immediately fled after the witness arrived.

During the investigation, troopers found the suspect vehicle and about 10 people at a property on Riverside Road.

They obtained a search warrant and found multiple stolen items from the barn as well as a small amount of suspected methamphetamine.
