16-year-old dies in pedestrian-vehicle crash

A 16-year-old Three Rivers girl died after being hit by a vehicle on U.S. 131 Monday night.

St. Joseph County, Michigan Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to the area just before 10:30 p.m. for the crash.

The girl’s name has not yet been released and police have not been given a narrative for what happened, but the driver of the vehicle was not hurt.
