Indiana receives ‘D’ grade for 2021 redistricting

The state is getting a grade of “D” for its redistricting in 2021.
The national Coalition Hub for Advance Redistricting & Grassroots Engagement, or CHARGE, says Indiana was among 13 states to get a D, D plus, or D minus grade and say eight states had an F grade.
Common Cause Indiana’s Julia Vaughn says “redistricting works best when people have influence over their voting districts,” which is not how the Republican supermajorities in the General Assembly did it.

They didn’t cry when Dems were in control and gerrymandered a district around Chris Chocola’s house and set up some of the most blatantly partisan districts.

From their website:

“CHARGE has 9 organizations that work collaboratively to anchor the work: APIAVote, Center for Popular Democracy, Common Cause, Fair Count, League of Women Voters, Mi Familia Vota, National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, National Congress of American Indians, and State Voices.”

I think we can safely disregard anything these partisan hacks say.
