Cass County Sheriff’s investigators searching for hit-and-run driver

The Cass County Sheriff’s Office seeks the public’s help identifying a hit-and-run driver and vehicle involved in a crash on Marcellus Highway.

The collision happened around 5 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 19, at the Marcellus and Decatur Road intersection.

Investigators say a 73-year-old driver was crossing eastbound when a northbound minivan cut in front, causing the collision.

The minivan then took off from the scene.

While the 73-year-old driver remained unharmed, his passenger was hospitalized with minor injuries.
