Man struck, killed by semi on U.S. 31 in Marshall County

A man died after being struck by a semi.

The collision happened on Thursday night, Oct. 19, at the intersection of U.S. 31 and State Road 10.

Marshall County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the victim as 64-year-old Ricky Lewis.

The investigation indicates that Lewis, who was dressed in dark attire, was struck by a semi while crossing the southbound lanes of U.S. 31, and that the truck driver was unable to spot him in time.

Lewis died at the scene.

Semi drivers are out of control.
Hopefully semis will become automated saving countless innocent lives.
