Penn Harris Madison has recently joined a nationwide collective legal action against major global social media corporations.
The legal action asserts that entities like Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, Google, and others have utilized algorithms to deliver detrimental content to the mobile devices of young individuals.
The lawsuit contends that these corporations have neglected their responsibility to safeguard children, resulting in students experiencing anxiety, depression, eating disorders, cyberbullying, sexual exploitation, social media addiction, and even engaging in self-harming or suicidal behaviors.
Penn-Harris-Madison is pursuing financial compensation to cover the expenses of recruiting additional personnel to address the mental health requirements.
