An Elkhart man is charged with burglarizing his girlfriend.

Police were called in July after a woman arrived home to see her boyfriend, Kane Truman’s, vehicle parked outside after walking home from his apartment following an argument with him.

She said that as she got closer, the vehicle drove away quickly.

Inside, she found her Chromebook missing and a screwdriver stabbed into her counter.

The woman called police later in the day to tell them that Truman had returned several items including the Chromebook, but, according to the Goshen News, Truman admitted to the police that he had taken the items because he believed she had taken items from his apartment.
