A Niles woman was sentenced for drug possession and obstructing police on Monday.

Kasey McGraw pleaded guilty to possession of narcotics less than 25 grams and resisting and obstructing police, being sentenced to 180 days in jail, according to Leader Publications.

They also say she pleaded guilty to contempt of court and probation violation charges, and was sentenced to concurrent jail terms of 30 days and 100 days.

The narcotics and resisting arrest incident happened in June, but the Berrien County Assistant Prosecutor said putting McGraw on probation again would set her up for failure, noting that she had violated probation terms from her earlier conviction.
