A Westville man has been accused of kidnapping his girlfriend’s 5-year-old daughter and the couple that was babysitting her.

It happened in Bloomington last week.

36-year-old Richard White Jr. allegedly harassed his girlfriend while she was at work, and, according to court documents, had sent his girlfriend texts, threatening to teach her respect.

WSBT says that White claimed that everyone went with him willingly, but he has been charged with three counts of kidnapping and intimidation with a deadly weapon.
