A bicyclist was killed after being struck by a vehicle in Buchanan Township.
It happened shortly before 8 p.m. Sunday on East Galien-Buchanan Road near Wells Road. Police say 53 year-old Penny Ann Frank was headed westbound on East Galien-Buchanan Road when her bike was hit by an 18 year-old Weesaw Township woman. The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
The Berrien County Sheriff’s Department Accident Investigation Team does not believe alcohol or drugs were involved, and continue to look into the details of the crash.
