Your teen can get out of school if they are helping on Election Day.
The “Hoosier Hall Pass” poll worker recruitment program enables 16 and 17 year old students a “live” experience of democracy in action on Election Day.
The program provides an opportunity for students to learn about democracy, to actively take part in their community and work to support free and fair elections in Indiana.
Students who want to participate in the program must have a GPA of at least 3-point-0 and get permission from their school and a parent.
