The Boys and Girls Clubs of St. Joseph County have implemented a new tool to improve literacy among their students.
The tool, called the “Beable Life-Ready Literacy Platform,” focuses on accelerating literacy skills for second-grade students and older who are affiliated with the club.
Additionally, the program aims to provide students with insights into various career opportunities.
According to Susanne Borders, the Academic Program Director, the platform provides students with a list of jobs they may find interesting, along with information on the required reading level and salary for each job.
