UPDATE: Silver Alert canceled for 12-year-old girl reported missing from Mishawaka

UPDATE: The statewide silver alert for Sequoia Taylor has been canceled.

ORIGINAL STORY: A Statewide Silver Alert has been issued following the disappearance of Sequoia Taylor, a 12-year-old Black female, in Mishawaka.

Taylor is described as 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing 110 pounds, with black hair adorned in blue braids and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a black jacket, a white and red shirt, pants, and white Crocs.

Mishawaka is the last known whereabouts of Taylor, who went missing on Saturday, Nov. 25.

Authorities consider her to be in extreme danger and believe she may require medical assistance.

Anybody with information about Sequoia Taylor’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Mishawaka Police Department at 574-258-1681 or call 911.
