Home under construction on W. Washington Street in South Bend catches fire

A home under construction caught fire in South Bend.

Crews were called just before 7 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 26, to the 3400 block of West Washington Street, and found the home fully engulfed and a vehicle also on fire.

Nobody was home at the time.

There was no report of any injuries. There’s no word, yet, about the cause.
