Investigators responded to a 9-1-1 call just before 6 p.m. on Sunday, Dec, 17.

Investigators say a female juvenile was shot in the back while inside a van at the JCPenney store.

The crime scene was isolated to just the vehicle itself. So far, it’s unclear what happened in the van before the shooting occured.

Everyone who was in the van was cooperating with the police, who are calling this an isolated incident with no threat to the public.
