A woman charged with robbery entered a guilty plea.

40-year-old Carrie Bets will be sentenced to residential entry and possession of paraphernalia, according to the Goshen News.

Bets, along with Immanuel Bostic, claimed they had permission to be at a residence, stating that it had been sold to them.

However, the homeowner’s realtor contacted police on June 7 after noticing that the home appeared to have been tampered with and that nobody should have been at the home.

Bets and Bostic were reportedly found exiting a bedroom and told police that they had just bought the house.

According to the probable cause affidavit, they told police a man named Mike had given them a tour of the home and permission to stay there, though the homeowner confirmed nobody named Mike was involved with the residence.

Bets and Bostic were arrested on charges of burglary, residential entry, theft and possession of meth and paraphernalia, and sentencing for Bets is set for January 11.
