Berrien County sees more crashes than other Michigan counties

(95.3 MNC)
There are more crashes in Berrien than in Cass, St. Joseph, or Van Buren counties in Michigan.
WSBT reports that Berrien County had more than 4000 crashes this year. That beat Van Buren County, which had more than 2000, and St. Joseph County Michigan with about 1500.
Sheriff Paul Bailey says the numbers are high for a few reasons, including the larger population, tourism from Chicago and Indiana, and the large amount of traffic on I-94.
