No. 16 Notre Dame capped its 2023 season with a dominant 40-8 win against No. 19 Oregon State in the 90th annual Sun Bowl.

Irish quarterback Steve Angeli got the first start of his career following Sam Hartman’s decision to opt out and made the most of his opportunity.

Angeli completed 14 of his 18 pass attempts for 212 yards and three touchdowns. He also rushed eight times for 27 yards.

Notre Dame finished the year with a 10-3 record.
