Raw ground beef is on the recall list to start off 2024.

The Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service says Valley Meats of Illinois is recalling over 6,500 pounds of raw ground beef products. It’s because the beef could have E. coli.

The meat was found when sample were tested for microbiological analysis. That’s when the E. coli was found.

The meat was produced on December 22. There have been no confirmed reports of illness from the meat. You’re advised not to serve recalled products.
