Indiana Department of Health data shows decrease in overdose deaths

Overdose deaths have decreased by five percent according to the latest data from the Indiana Department of Health.
The survey concluded that overdoses, in general, are down more than five percent, which correlates with the decrease in deaths.
Although this situation is trending in the right direction, there were still over 2,500 unintentional overdose deaths recorded in the most recent yearly count.
