The Pokagon Band of Potawatomi and its Four Winds Casinos are donating proceeds from the 2023 Four Winds Invitational to Beacon Children’s Hospital.

A $100,000 donation was presented during a ceremony on Wednesday. The proceeds come from the golf invitational event at the South Bend Country Club that happened in early August of last year.

The Hospital says they will use the funds for a airway visualization system to help intubate patients, as well as a pair of warmers for infant care that include resuscitation equipment.

The Four Winds Invitational will enter its 44th year this summer, and is one of the women’s tour events considered as part of “The Road to the LGPA.”
