A Bridgman Police Department vehicle was damaged on Monday after a driver lost control and crashed into it on I-94.

The officer had been helping a couple that slid off the road when the other vehicle was reportedly driving too fast for the road conditions.

No serious injuries were reported, though drivers are reminded to slow down and give emergency vehicles plenty of room when they’re on the side of the road.
