Boilermakers defeat Hawkeyes, get set to face Michigan

The Purdue Boilermakers won on the road in Iowa yesterday as they defeated the Hawkeyes handidly by a score of 84 – 70. Center Zach Edey put up a total of 30 points and managed to grab 18 rebounds off the glass. Lance Jones also shot well last night earning a final total of 17 points for himself. Purdue remains in ranked 2nd nationally and also sits at 2nd in the Big Ten Conference. Despite having the better record they have two conference losses while first place Wisconsin has only lost once in conference play so far this season. Purdue returns home to face off against Michigan on Tuesday. Tip off set for 9:00 p.m.
