Rep. Jim Banks asks Carmel mayor to withdraw from its sister cities agreement with China

Third District Representative Jim Banks has sent a letter to the recently inaugurated Mayor of Carmel — asking her to withdraw from its sister cities agreement with China.
Former Mayor Jim Brainard signed the sister cities agreement in November 2023 during a ten-day tour of China.
Banks says Carmel has an opportunity to turn the page and hopefully lead the way by becoming the first of many Indiana cities to drop its sister city agreement and distance itself from the Chinese Communist Party.

John Rust, the Egg farmer price fixer, says he will go to DC and throw the bums out. That seems to be an incongruity and a lie.
