If you’re planning to order flowers this Valentine’s Day, the Better Business Bureau says to do so with caution.

The BBB has received reports all around the country from shoppers who purchased flowers from online florists for last-minute orders, but the flowers were never delivered.

The BBB says before ordering flowers from an online business, research the seller. Read customer reviews and verify the seller’s contact information.

Review the seller’s photos and advertisements, ensuring that the seller is using real images in their photos rather than stock images or photos from other websites.

Always use secure payment methods, and check the estimated delivery times and guarantees. To be sure you’re using a reliable florist, you can always check with the BBB’s accredited business list on their website.
