Elkhart man arrested after high-speed pursuit in Goshen

An Elkhart man was arrested in Goshen after leading police on a short high-speed pursuit and crashing at the intersection of Pike Street and Indiana Avenue.

The chase happened around 12:10 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 9.

40-year-old Christopher Taylor, the driver, sustained multiple injuries and was treated at a local hospital before being incarcerated at the Elkhart County Jail.

Reports say he was initially being pulled over for reckless driving behavior and that he failed to stop.
