The US Department of Agriculture wants to hear from a certain category of farmers in Michigan.

The USDA is looking for input from specialty crop farmers in Michigan. The state is the top producer in the nation for a number of specialty crops, according to WSJM.

Those include asparagus, black and small red beans, marigolds, and squash.

The Department of Agriculture hopes to better understand the challenges faced by these farmers, and learn how to better improve programs designed to support them.
