Pet Refuge’s annual gala is set for Saturday, March 16.

It’s their largest fundraiser in support of the cats and dogs they care for.

The gala will be held at the Gillespie Event Center from 5 to 10 p.m. with a theme of “Playing for Keeps,” centered around sports.

There will be activities including a kitten petting tent, sports games, raffles, auctions and more. Attendees are invited to wear their favorite team’s jersey and join the Pet Refuge for a stadium-themed meal including a burger slider and nacho bar.

Tickets to the gala are $60, with funds going towards helping animals that are abused, abandoned, neglected or can no longer be taken care of by their owners.
