The Berrien County Health Department is reminding residents of its accessible and nonjudgmental STD testing services.

BCHD offers in-person and telehealth appointments, as well as fast-track testing and walk-in services that help prevent and treat STDs through testing, treatment and educational support.

The World Health Organization says more than one million sexually transmitted infections are acquired every day worldwide. And, Berrien County has seen an increase in cases of various STDs.

The Berrien County Health Department offers services at lower rates than other local health care organizations and they accept most types of insurance.

Clinic appointments and telehealth appointments are available Monday through Thursday from 8 to 5.
