South Bend Police investigate threat of gun violence at Adams High School

There were a few tense moments at Adams High School in South Bend.

It was around 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 14, when officers were dispatched to the school on an unconfirmed threat of gun violence.

School administrators placed the school under a brief lockdown as multiple South Bend Police officers responded to investigate.

No active threat was identified. The lockdown was lifted once the campus was deemed safe.

This incident remains under investigation.
