A suspect is in the hospital after police say he led them on a chase before crashing on the Indiana Toll Road in northwest Indiana.

Officers were pursuing the man, Friday, driving a stolen car, who started droving the wrong way on the interstate.

The man crashed into another car head-on, near the Westpoint Toll Plaza.

He was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
