A vigil has been planned for Tuesday night for the Notre Dame student that died in a car crash over the weekend.
Sophomore Spencer Vermeule was a member of the Notre Dame fencing team. He died on Saturday, March 2, when his car struck a tree and overturned on County Road 8 in Elkhart.
The service is planned for Tuesday at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart.
