Mishawaka firefighter placed 6th at World’s Strongest Firefighter Contest

A Mishawaka firefighter placed 6th at a World’s Strongest Firefighter Contest last week.

Firefighter Alek Escobedo competed in the contest in Columbus, Ohio which took place during the Arnold Sports Festival.

Escobedo represented Mishawaka Fire IAFF Local 360 and Professional Firefighters Union of Indiana.

According to WSBT, Escobedo dominated the hydrant lift and made it to the finals where he finished in sixth among all contestants.
