(95.3 MNC)

A routine traffic stop ended in a crash last week.

The traffic stop was initiated in Cass County, though it turned into a chase that crossed state lines.

South Bend police got involved in the chase for a white Ford SUV, and the suspect ended up hitting another car head-on at the intersection of Lafayette Boulevard and LaSalle Avenue in South Bend.

The suspect ran away after the crash, but was noted as a man wearing a white hoodie. No injuries have been reported in the crash.
