A resolution calling on the city of South Bend to buy the Kelly’s Pub property on Mishawaka Avenue has been approved by South Bend City Council members.

The plan isn’t for the city to operate the business, but rather, to demolish it.

The city will spend $275-thousand dollars.

This, after repeated violence and some high profile shootings at the bar, including a mass shooting of 10 people back in 2019.

The property isn’t the problem, it’s the patrons. Do they think those same people are going to behave at the next place they frequent?

The city is run by morons.
