National Standard Company in Niles closes, leaves over 80 people without jobs

selective focus photography of Closed signage
It’s been in business for more than 100 years, now “National Standard Company” in Niles has closed, leaving nearly 85 people out of work.
National Standard has been one of the leading manufacturers of wire products in North America for a variety of products ranging from tires to harpsichords.
There’s another facility in Oklahoma.
No word whether that location is closing or whether any of the local employees are being offered jobs there.

Whitmer will just blame “corporate greed” instead of acknowledging that crappy Democrat policies are killing American manufacturing, even in Michigan.
