It’s 52 years in prison for a man found guilty of attempted murder for a shooting at Elkhart Eagles Club 395 in Elkhart.

Dentrell Brown was found guilty of the April 2022 shooting as well as of Criminal Recklessness.

Documents say the shooting stemmed from a fight.

The Goshen News says Brown ran out the exit door and returned with a gun, claiming to have found the gun on the ground when he was jumped by some men.

When Brown returned to the dance floor a few minutes later, someone reportedly began charging at him, and he discharged the firearm multiple times before leaving.

Two men had to undergo extensive surgeries and physical therapy due to the shooting.
