South Bend aerial park rumored to be closing

UNSPLASH.COM

A popular aerial park on the southwest side of South Bend may soon be closing.

The company that runs Rum Village Adventures is reportedly closing the aerial obstacle course.

No public announcement has been made about the closure at this time, but WNDU states that customers looking to book climbs are getting notices that the Gertrude Street course is closing.

There has been a lack of activity on the Rum Village Adventures’ Facebook page, and the City of South Bend confirmed with the South Bend Tribune that they received a notice of termination from the company.

The aerial adventure park has seen more than eight seasons of business with multiple adventure courses with aerial obstacles and ziplines.
