A fire destroyed the Ramona Roller Rink in Dowagiac.

The blaze happened on Tuesday evening, May 7.

The owners posted to Facebook that they are devastated and trying to sort out. They say the fire was a complete shock to them.

Multiple agencies from the area came to the scene to fight the fire, including Hartford, Decatur, and Keeler Township.

Crews were unable to extinguish the fire as the business burned to the ground.

There was no report of any injuries.  The cause of the blaze has not officially been determined, though there is speculation that lighting may be a factor.
