Indiana has been ranked third among states when it comes to the 2024 Parent Power! Index.

The index is a comprehensive nationwide assessment of state programs and policies that determines the power parents have over their children’s education.

It’s the most up-to-date assessment of learning opportunities and is released by the Center for Education Reform.

For almost 30 years, CER has argued that parents are the most important ally in any effort for education.

They say when parents can make informed decisions about their children’s education, education works better. According to the index, Indiana received a “B” grade.
