Wings Etc. recently presented St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital with a check for $50,000.
The $50,000 contribution reflects Wings Etc. customer donations collected since September 2023 via in-store messaging in entryways, on tabletops and on closed-circuit TV screens, and outbound messaging to Wings Etc. Grill & Pub email list members and social media followers.
Consumers also are able to round up their checks on behalf of St. Jude, and Wings Etc. Inc. and its franchisees also host a number of events and sports tournaments throughout the year that bring in dollars through entry fees and donations by participants. .
Wings Etc. corporate leaders and franchise owner-operators are looking ahead to the coming year, with plans to increase the effort and raise even more toward St. Jude’s vital, lifesaving care for children.
Plans include a pin-up campaign in all stores from June 1 to August 1; each customer who makes a donation to St. Jude will have their name pinned to a wall in the restaurant.
In conjunction with Wings Etc.’s sponsorship of Jeremy Clements Racing, fans are invited to the infield of Michigan International Speedway on August 16-17 where, starting around 7 p.m., Wings Etc. leadership will be cooking the brand’s famous award-winning boneless wings. The wings are free; fans can make a donation for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in return. The event continues each evening until the wings are gone.
