An investigation is underway following a shooting that occurred at Pin Oak Manor Apartments in Mishawaka.

Police were called to the scene around 8:45 p.m. on Tuesday, June 19, on reports of gunfire.

One person was injured and taken to the hospital, although details on the extent of their injuries have not been disclosed.

The circumstances leading up to the shooting are currently unknown.
