A Bristol man is accused of setting fire to his former boss’ work vehicles after being fired.
Robert A.R. Norman is being charged with arson that happened in August last year.
The victim told police that Norman was fired from working for him due to poor performance and the use of drugs while on the job.
He told him that he would not be paid until he removed the personal effects from the victim’s backyard and stated that Norman tried to start a physical fight with him.
Norman reportedly had told the victims that he was going to burn their house down earlier in the day or the day before, and at 3 a.m. on August 20, the first victim was woken up to his International 400 work truck and stump chipper on fire.
His jury trial was continued from July 16 to January 6.
