The Supreme Court will hear a challenge to Tennessee’s ban on gender-affirming care for minors.
That will be done during the high courts next term, which begins in October and ends next June.
A decision on the constitutionality of the Tennessee law will impact laws in other states as well.
More than 20 states have restricted gender-affirming care for minors. Indiana is one of those states.
